The successful candidate will be part of Telesto’s development team and will be responsible for developing features and functionality for our flagship Telesto® Learning Management System.

All candidates will require strong skills in event-based object oriented programming, client- and server- side scripting, and database development and SQL. Experience in creating systems that are high-quality, feature-rich, and powerful yet easy to use is highly desirable.

Candidates must possess the following:
A passion for developing world-class software and providing outstanding customer service
A degree or diploma in Computer Science or equivalent
5 years of experience in developing e-learning/web-based training applications
5 years of work experience using Microsoft IIS, ASP, and SQL Server web technologies
4 years of experience: working with relational databases and writing SQL scripts; designing and developing large enterprise cross-browser compatible web applications; and using HTML and Dreamweaver
3 years of experience in using DHTML and Javascript
2 years of experience in web-based reporting and in using Flash MX, VBScript, and Photoshop
Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills in English
Strong visual design experience with proven web design experience
The ability to realistically assess and report on the amount of effort required to create functionality
The willingness and ability to learn new technologies as required without being sent to classes
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
The ability to organize work around changing priorities, under tight deadlines, and on multiple projects simultaneously
An understanding of the project development lifecycle and business practices, including documentation, testing, and implementation
The ability to work well in a team and independently
An ability and willingness to work long hours to meet project deadlines


The following qualifications are a “plus”:
Bilingual (English / French)
Experience in designing and developing effective instructional programs incorporating SCORM and AICC standards
MCSE-certified
Experience using Crystal Reports
Customer support experience

The successful candidate, both a web application user interface and graphic designer, will be part of Telesto's development team and will be responsible for creating web and print designs. Specific responsibilities will include:
Maintaining the corporate website
Designing user interfaces for web applications
Designing, from concept to completion, print applications such as materials for marketing initiatives, advertising, and corporate identity and branding

Candidates must possess the following:
A passion for developing impressive, appealing and engaging graphics and web user interfaces as evidenced by an impressively creative design portfolio
A College Diploma in graphic design, arts or equivalent combination of education/experience
Outstanding attention to detail
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills – able to write and contribute to design documents; able to make strong presentations
Superior skills in Macromedia Dreamweaver, Flash, Animation, Acrobat (Full Version) and Photoshop
Experience with XML
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Strong knowledge of print and pre-press processes
Ability to apply innovative approaches to solving design issues
The ability to work well in a team and independently
Able to work in a fast paced, dynamic, deadline driven environment
An ability and willingness to work long hours (50 hrs/week plus) as, and when, required to meet project deadlines
